About the NFL Playoff Challenge

The Playoff Challenge is the post-season variant of Fantasy American Football. The RBB league plays in one league, open to all members of the RBB community. It happens throughout the NFL post-season with teams competing to achieve the highest possible score. Unlike FAF there is no draft and no restriction on how many teams can have the same player.

The Challenge has been run on our website since 2023 when NFL.com dropped their version at one week's notice. We still use the old nfl.com scoring system that uses the organisation's system. Players score points multiples for each round of games they are selected for a team. This makes it a strategic decision as to whether to pick players for the short or long term. Like FAF there are points allocated for each player's in-game performance including yards, touchdowns, turnovers etc. The scoring updates close to live so it is easily possible to see scoring rankings and banter while holding out for more success.

The scoring system is as follows:
  • Rushing or Receiving TD: 6 points
  • Passing TD: 4 points
  • Rush/Rec Yards: 1 point per 10 yards
  • Pass Yards: 1 point per 25 yards
  • FG 0-49 yards: 3 points
  • FG 50+ yards: 5 points
  • XP: 1 point
  • Defence:
  • Team Win: 5 points
  • Return TD: 6 points
  • Interception: 2 points
  • Fumble Rec: 2 points
  • Safety: 2 points
