The Gombe Irregulars got off to a very slow start in 2019 but grew in strength and set the second highest points score of any round in the Superbowl. It was not quite enough as the FSW Trainees were able to hold off the Irregulars who had to settle for a runners-up position in the first ever RBB Playoff Challenge. In 2021, the team again put up a modest opening effort but were consistently strong through the remaining rounds to eventually win the Challenge by a mere 3 points despite not actually winning a single round. After the first 2 seasons, the Irregulars were top of the charts for overall scoring as well as for scoring in the Super Bowl, Conference Round, and Divisional Round. The team's final season in Gombe was nowhere near as successful. The campaign never really got going, being dead last through the first three rounds. A mid table finish in the Super Bowl was not enough to salvage a disappointing year and 2022 saw the Irregulars finishing last. 2923 was a remarkable bounce back. The franchise's move to Maseru started slowly but from then on it was a dominating performance. Maseru placed first in each of the last three rounds and took the 2023 title comfortably, the franchise's 2nd in its history. It would always be difficult to repeat that kind of performance and in 2024 it was a mid-table finish for the Irregulars. A bold all-byes strategy in the first round did not really pay off as they were not posting large enough numbers later on.
