The Muswell Hillbillies finished 7th in the 2020 RBB Playoff Challenge. Their quest for the title was hampered by a relatively low start. Although the Hillbillies were able to post the second highest score in the Superbowl, they were by that point too far off the leaders to make a run for glory. The 2021 campaign saw the Hillbillies set a new record for points in a Divisional Round, finish 3rd in the Conference Round, and be just a single point off the top of the table heading into the Super Bowl. They could not keep pace in the final round though, eventually ending up 5th overall. 2022 was a solid but not spectacular year. Until the Super Bowl. Decent performances through the early rounds might have been enough but spectacular results elsewhere meant that a top ranked Super Bowl performance was not enough to close the gap on the leaders and it was a 6th place finish for the Hillbillies. A change of strategy in 2023 did not bring the hoped for glory. Early performances were those of contenders but too many player eliminations meant the back half of the season did not yield enough points and it was eventually a mid table outing for Muswell. 2024 did not yield much more of a scorline for the Hillbillies who found themselves mid-table or lower throughout the Challenge. In a high scoring year it was not to be for Muswell.
