The New England Patriot Missiles were a respectable 5th in the first RBB Playoff Challenge. The 2020 Missiles managed to place somewhere in the middle of the pack in every round. The consistency was impressive but the lack of a standout performane meant they did not find themselves amongst the league leaders. Creeping slightly up the table in 2021, the Missiles ended up in 4th place but were challenges throughout. Their strongest showing was in the Super Bowl, with a 2nd placed result in the final round but it was not quite enough to crack the set of high scoring podium finishers. New England took the reverse strategy in 2022. After looking fairly good early on, some bold risks did not pay off and there were too few points left on the board for the Super Bowl. 2023 was very nearly the Missiles year. Like other contenders they had a slow start but pushed higher and higher as the tournament went on. It was a strong overall performance, ending up 3rd behind a couple of extremely high scoring sides. 2024 had some hope for New England as they set themselves up for contendership but the side crashed when up against a particularly high scoring Super Bowl leaving them in the lower reaches of the final table.
