About Dynasty

Dynasty is the forever league of Fantasy American Football. It differs from FAF in being a permanent league. Players selected for teams stay on those teams until they are released and can play for the same team across many seasons. Dynasty teams are also permanent. It is the same teams battling each season for Dynasty glory.

Dynasty is played on Sleeper and uses the default scoring system on that app. A standard roster is 1xQB, 2xRB, 2xWR, 1xTE, 2xFlex, 1xK, 2xDL, 2xLB, 2x DB, 2xIDP. There are 10 bench slots so there is plenty of scope to keep your favourite players on the pine so they can come back again next season. In addition there are 2 slots for Injured Reserve so even more space to stash your people. A 3 person taxi squad is for rookies who will not be participating this year. Those on the taxi squad cannot be promoted into the roster or bench once the season has started. They must be promoted from the taxi squad before the start of their second season as only rookies can be on the taxi squad.

Matches are head-to-head each week for a 15 week regular season. Weeks 16 and 17 are the playoffs. 4 teams qualify for the playoffs based on regular season Win-Loss record followed by points scored.

RBB Dynasty is an Auction league. Players are bid for based on in-game case. Each team has an allocation at the start of the league and at the start of each season. The amount of cash allocated at the start of the season is determined by inverse finishing order from the previous season. In addition, a FAB budget is provided each season at a flat rate which can be used for free agent bidding. A rookie draft is held each season.

Trading is permitted up until the trade deadline of Week 11. Trades can be made using players and/or cash. Trades will generally be approved unless there is evidence of collusion. An example of collusion is trading players back and forth between teams. RBB principles are in effect and your reputation is important across the community. Trade because it benefits your team.

Any player who has been placed on IR or is Suspended or is a Holdout or is Not Available for some undeclared or other reason as determined by the NFL or their NFL team is eligible for IR. You can put them on IR for as long as they have the official status. A player who is Out is not eligible for IR. There is no minimum period for the time you a player can be on IR so long as they meet the criteria. There is no maximum period so long as the player meets the criteria.

If at any point you are considering withdrawing from active participation, inform the commissioners. There are lots of people in the RBB community and we will find a replacement. Expansion in Dynasty is problematic so the initial 10 franchises are anticipated to be the only franchises.

Comms will be on the Discord channel. Please use it actively.
