FAF Roll of Honour

Year
Champion

The first former Division Three team to become champions stole the show in 2024. Ultimate Unicorns were the highest scoring side in FAF in 2024 and produced the highest score in any final to this point. It was a fairly inauspicious start to the season though, their first in Division One. Dropping three of the first four games but then 11 wins from 12 made it a glorious end to the season.

The rise of the Corns was one of the most remarkable stories of FAF. Three years. Three finals. Culminating in a Championship. The journey from 2022-2024 was unprecedented. It was the first time a team that started outside the top flight had lifted the championship title and potentially marked a changing of the guard. Unicorns had seen back-to-back promotions alongside Bo Callahan's Teammates though had lost both the Division Three and Division Two finals to their rivals in consecutive seasons. Perhaps fortunately for Ultimate, Bo's did not make the playoffs this time around.

The playoffs looked likely to pose a stern test for the Corns credentials. A semi final against NTA matched them against the only side to have delivered the L in the Unicorns otherwise stellar 12 game run. But it was a convincing victory leading to a final against the top seeded The Anomalies who's sister organisation had pipped Unicorns to the Playoff Challenge title earlier in the year. Again it was an outstanding performance in the final to cap a three game big scoring run to end the year. Worthy champions and the new force in FAF.
