Haitian Hurricane had a strong start to their FAF career with a 5th placed Division One finish in 2020 accompanied by some seriously big scores. A rebrand to Voodoo Volunteers for the 2021 season worked wonders. The team managed 9 wins in the regular season then had a tremendous post-season including a big score in a high scoring matchup against the New England Patriot Missiles to claim the FAF Championship. Voodoo had another impressive year in 2022, avoiding the post-championship dip all previous winners had suffered. The Volunteers topped the regular season table then put up a strong performance in the playoffs but they ran into a Ratscallions side having a great day so had to settle for confirmation of their perennial contender status. In 2023, Voodoo were more than just contenders, they were champions again. Volunteers became the first team to lift the FAF Championship twice after a streaky season where they blew hot and cold. They were hot in the playoffs, blowing past 11 Fat Men to reach the final and then knocking off Phoenix Knights to announce themselves as the best franchise in FAF. 2024 was yet another strong year with yet another playoff appearance. Landing top spot, Voodoo looked on course to repeat for the championship but it was not to be as they bowed out at the semi final stage against a big scoring Anomalies side.
