Ratscallions

Ratscallions made an excellent debut in 2020. After a good regular sesaon, the team won a nailbiting Week 14 playoff eliminator against the Noble Narwhals to confirm a playoff spot where they knocked out the table topping Peyton Raiders. A loss in the final to Part Timers was nothing to be ashamed of as it still guaranteed promotion to Division 1. A strong first season in the top flight saw the Rats make the playoffs in 2021. with a 10 win season. A 3rd place finish follwing the post-season was a strong outing for the team. The Rats carried on their strong play in 2022, racking up the most points in D1 and securing a playoff spot where they performed admirably in making the final before they narrowly lost out to the New England Patriot Missiles and settled for the runners-up spot. The hangover from the final clearly affected the Rats in 2023. They slipped to the bottom of the table during the regular season and then had an extraordinarily close playout game. It was los scoring but the Rats dropped the game by 1.08 points to Spacecast Simulators meaning the franchise's 3 year run in D1 was at an end. Back in D2 after a gap of 4 years, Ratscallions found the going perhaps a little harder than they might have expected. It turned out to be the franchise's lowest scoring season to date and a 4-10 record meant a playout spot. Rats survived though by knocking off Shadow's Pack and maintained their second tier status.
