New England Patriot Missiles

The New England Patriot Missiles found the going a little difficult in 2019, in particular losing twice to rivals Rugby. The team ended up down in 8th place. A stronger season in 2020 saw the Missiles at the cusp of the playoffs through much of the year but ultimately falling agonisingly short on points scored. 2021 was a terrific year for the Missiles as they finished top of the regular season table and pushed on to the final where despite putting up a big score they finished as runners-up to Voodoo Volunteers. After knocking on the door in 2021, 2022 was the year the Missiles finally reached the pinnacle. A decent season saw them comfortably into the playoffs where they pulled off great results including a win against Ratscallions in the final and a trophy being claimed for the first time by New England. It looked as though New England might be in the running again for 2023 as they looked on course for a playoff spot but a couple of losses in the last two wweeks of the season meant they had to settle for a 7-7 record despite being the highest scorers in D1. It was 7-7 again in 2024. Missiles struggled with some low scores early but grew stronger towards the end of the season making it in the end a comfortable mid table year.
